- 2 medium size Hass avocadoes
- ¼ cup chopped red onion
- ¼ - ½ cup chopped tomatoes (or chunky salsa)
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- 1 -2 Tbs lime juice (juice from ½ - 1 lime)
- Dash of cumin to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh chopped jalapeno pepper or Tobasco sauce, and chopped garlic to taste (optional)
Mush avocado until desired consistency.
Add chopped onions, tomatoes and cilantro and stir.
Add lime juice, cumin, salt and pepper and optional ingredients and stir.
Chill if desired, or serve immediately with red pepper strips, cucumber, celery, carrot sticks or tortilla chips.
Serves 4. Will turn brown if saved in refrigerator, but it’s still good!
